Dog Park Update:

CV DOGS and the Crescenta Valley Town Council met with representatives from Los Angeles County Supervisor Mike Antonovich's office on August 19 about bringing a dog park to the Crescenta Valley. Currently, the county is working on a proposal to present to the community later this year!

The County requests that CV DOGS continue fundraising and generate  community support for a local dog park. We will keep you informed about the date of the community meeting. We need a dog park in the Crescenta Valley area

• There are a lot of people who own dogs in the Crescenta Valley area and there is no official off-leash dog park in the foothill area

• Local, tax paying, residents need a convenient, legal area for their dogs to exercise and play off-leash

• The closest dog parks to the Crescenta Valley area are 12-13 miles away

• Promotes public health and safety

• Provides a central location for displaced and evacuated pets during a disaster.
